SUSTAINABLE FROM THE START
A growing trend among homeowners is an unconventional build for an extraordinary home. This client had already decided on a round house and was passionate about sustainability.
Construction Coordinator Heidi Tauriainen over at HomeSource Builders worked closely with the client on the interior and exterior material selections and design from our Design Center that turned this house into a home. Our Design Center showroom made selecting her finishes much easier! The client was able to look, touch and feel samples before deciding. It wasn't a standard layout— she had to design everything to fit in a round house. This meant planning the cabinets, floors, ceilings and decks to work in a circular configuration!
Thankfully, Heidi was up for the challenge. She truly enjoyed the entire project, and says:

The result is stunning- a modern, eco-friendly home filled with light. Warm, natural wood tones flow through the space, creating a sense of peace and calm. The house blends beautifully with its wooded surroundings, and the decks allow for harmonious indoor/outdoor living. This happy homeowner said:
