“AGE IN PLACE” IN BRIDGEWATER
This beautiful one-level home in Fletcher, NC has room to grow, with a future basement build-out already designed. The home’s main features are a rustic paver driveway, a welcoming grand entryway, a sitting area with a fireplace in the kitchen, and uniquely designed shelving and storage areas. Also, it is amazingly energy-efficient even with all of the windows that bathe the home in natural light. In fact, it is an ENERGY STAR, and Green Built Certified home.
MIDCENTURY MODERN KITCHEN
This spectacular home renovation draws on the midcentury open plan while incorporating modern touches and amenities. The cherry and white cabinets and the solid color quartz tops were explicitly selected to not compete with the dramatic wall colors throughout. The changing LED lighting under the overhang of the eating bar sets the mood, day or night. The porcelain slate flooring was scored at interesting angles to break up the large field of tile. The coffee/ tea bar has a permanently plumbed brewing station; no need to traverse to the sink.
URBAN REFINED KITCHEN & BATH
While the existing kitchen was functional, the owners and the HomeSource Design Team created a gorgeous urban-refined oasis full of detail, specific work zones, and abundant storage spaces. A new, larger window was placed at the sink area, and the white subway tile was taken to the ceilings as a special touch and a nod to the yesteryear styling from the age of the home. The cabinetry includes navy bases and walnut uppers. So chic! The master bathroom did not have enough space for a double bowl vanity, so a single trough sink was used with two faucets to accommodate two users. A custom, open shelf vanity was fabricated to hold the large trough. What a great use of space!
MILLS RIVER CUSTOM
It offers a bright main level, perfect for aging in place, but it also boasts a roomy, comfortable finished basement with plenty of storage and space for guests. Even though it offers generous amounts of natural light, it is surprisingly energy efficient. Its spacious garage can also house a workbench or an electric car hookup. Guests and homeowners alike will love the outdoor areas with long-range views.
WEST ASHEVILLE TWO-STORY
These clients made building their home fun and rewarding! The contemporary home is conveniently located in West Asheville. It has Hanstone quartz countertops, solar panels, a rocking chair-covered Trex deck off the Great Room, an owner’s suite with two walk-in closets, and a main-level garage.
IRON MOUNTAIN HOME
As you enter the driveway, you feel like you are entering a secluded home in the woods. Once inside the house, you will appreciate all the natural light and large windows. The style reflects the environment, influenced by the beautiful uniqueness of the area in which we live.
